How we designed an intuitive mobile app interface tailored for farmers and agri-business stakeholders, resulting in higher adoption, better engagement, and improved access to critical agricultural information.
An agri-tech company wanted to launch a mobile app to connect farmers with resources such as crop advisory, weather forecasts, marketplaces, and government schemes. While the backend systems were in place, the app lacked a user-friendly interface tailored to farmers, many of whom were first-time smartphone users.
We provided end-to-end UI/UX design services to create a mobile app that was simple, visually engaging, and accessible in local languages. The result was a farmer-friendly digital platform that improved usability and increased engagement across rural communities.
What we needed to solve
Many farmers were new to mobile apps, so complex interfaces reduced adoption.
The existing app design didn’t support regional languages or accessibility-friendly layouts.
Farmers found it difficult to complete key tasks like checking weather updates or selling produce.
Conducted user research and interviews with farmers to understand needs, behaviors, and pain points before designing the app.
Designed an interface with support for regional languages, icons, and simplified navigation patterns.
Streamlined critical journeys (e.g., crop advisory, weather checks, market listing) into fewer steps to improve completion rates.
Used large touch targets, high-contrast colors, and intuitive icons to ensure ease of use for users with limited literacy.
Built interactive prototypes and conducted field testing with farmers to refine the design before final rollout.
We used cutting-edge technologies to build a scalable, performant, and maintainable solution.
UI/UX wireframing, prototyping, and collaborative design.
Interactive design mockups and usability flows.
Clickable prototypes for user testing.
Custom icons, graphics, and visual assets.
